Siala Copenhagen ApS – Terms and Conditions

These sales and delivery conditions apply to consumer agreements for the purchase of goods on siala.dk for delivery in Denmark, but not Greenland and the Faroe Islands, unless it is expressly stated in the conditions.

The conditions for traders’ purchases of goods on siala.dk are set out in point 8.

  1. Types of delivery and free delivery

The following delivery types are available for goods purchased at siala.dk.

Delivery to your address: Delivery by showing receipt at a self-selected address. These goods are most often delivered by GLS, DHL, UPS, PostNord.

Siala Copenhagen ApS offers free delivery in Denmark on all our products.

If you want your goods delivered to a country other than Denmark, e.g. Sweden, Norway, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, this must be agreed separately with Siala Copenhagen ApS and you bear the delivery costs yourself, unless it is expressly agreed with Siala Copenhagen ApS.

Delivery time is typically between 10-20 business days.

A speaker at Siala Copenhagen ApS is specially made. Therefore, the delivery time may occur longer. The delivery time is stated in the final binding order confirmation, which you receive per. e-mail.

If a component is backordered, the delivery time may also be longer than usual. The delivery time is stated in the final binding order confirmation, which you receive per. e-mail


  1. Order confirmation and receipt for delivery

Siala Copenhagen ApS announcement of goods is an invitation to make an offer, cf. section 9 of the Contracts Act. A binding purchase agreement has therefore not been entered into until Siala Copenhagen ApS has accepted your order. This first happens when you receive a final order confirmation from Siala Copenhagen ApS, which you receive immediately after you have placed your order. The email states a copy of your order as well as these sales and delivery conditions.

You will subsequently receive an e-mail or sms when the item is shipped from our workshop or delivered by our supplier.


  1. Payment and security

When you shop at siala.dk, you must use a payment card, Google Pay or Apple Pay when you shop via a mobile device. To protect your card information, payment is handled by an approved and certified payment module provider. The provider ensures that all information is processed encrypted, so that neither siala.dk nor others can access your card information.

At siala.dk you can use the following payment methods: Apple Pay, Google Pay, VISA, MasterCard or America Express.

Payment will be deducted once we have shipped your goods. For the goods that are to be specially manufactured, the money is deducted when the production begins.


  1. Cancelling

You have the right to cancel the order you have made on siala.dk, without justification within 14 days. The right of withdrawal expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party specified by you, but not the carrier, receives the last item in physical possession. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to cancel the order in an unequivocal statement. This must be done in a written inquiry or by telephone to:

If you choose to cancel your order, you can use the specified Standard cancellation form, which can be found at the end of these sales and delivery conditions or by stating the following information in a written inquiry: Order number, name and the information that you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal .

If you regret the purchase, we will refund all payments received from you, without delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which we received the notification of your decision to cancel the purchase. We will process the refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction. We do not pay to third parties. You will not be charged any fees as a result of the refund. You must return the item without delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you have informed us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal. The deadline is met if you return the item before the end of the 14 days.

In the event of a regrettable purchase, you are responsible for returning the goods to us. You must bear the direct costs of returning the item. If you want to send an item back, please make sure it is securely wrapped. Please note that return labels must not be affixed directly to the item.

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item, which is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the item’s nature, properties and the way it works. If you have used the product in addition to what is necessary to ascertain the product’s nature, property and the way it works, we reserve the right, after specific assessment in each case, to reduce the refund or allow the payment to lapse completely.

Items exempt from the right of withdrawal
The following product types are excluded from the right of withdrawal:

Delivery of goods that are specially manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications or have a clear personal touch.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the item, or you have provided documentation of having returned the item.


  1. Complaint

When you shop at siala.dk, you as a consumer have a 2-year right to complain about errors or defects in the product calculated from the time you received the item. You must file a complaint within a reasonable time after you have identified the error or defect. A timely, justified complaint means that you can either have the item repaired, get a price reduction or get your money back depending on the specific situation.

The right of complaint lapses if the fault or defect is caused by the buyer, for example as a result of incorrect use, natural and ordinary wear and tear or independent modification of the product (eg repair, addition and / or conversion).

If you wish you complain about a product, follow the this procedure:

If you believe that there are defects or deficiencies in the product, and if you wish to make a complaint, you must inform us of this in writing or orally. You must describe the error or defect. It is important that you have received our confirmation of an acceptance of repair or other remedial attempt before you possibly send the item to us. In some cases, we will offer to come and repair the item at your address.

When a product is submitted in connection with a complaint, make sure that it is properly wrapped so that there is no further damage to the product. We do not make special demands on the packaging – just that it protects the item during transport.


  1. Personal data

  1. Special conditions for traders (mainly for the purpose of their profession)

The terms of sale and delivery for consumers also apply to traders, however with the following changes: There is no right of withdrawal for traders. There is a 1-year right of complaint from the original invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Replacement or repair does not result in a new 1-year warranty period. Siala Copenhagen ApS reserves the ownership of goods purchased on credit until the full purchase price has been paid. All costs in connection with the enforcement of the retention of title are borne by the buyer.


  1. Other conditions

Liability and personal liability. The customer is responsible for ensuring proper installation of the speaker, including electronic connections and installation. We (Siala Copenhagen ApS) are not responsible for damage to property or personal injury resulting from incorrect or insufficient installation of the speaker.

Force Majeure. We are not responsible for delays or non-compliance with our obligations under the terms of sale and delivery, if the delay or non-fulfillment is due to events beyond our reasonable control “Force Majeure”.

Invalidity. Should one or more of the decisions in the terms of sale and delivery be declared completely or partially invalid, the other decisions will continue to apply.

Right of appeal (consumers only). If you are dissatisfied with our agreement and cannot agree with our Customer Service on a sensible solution to the dispute, you can complain to the Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, if the conditions for this are met. The complaint can be made via the Klageløsningen at www.forbrug.dk. When submitting a complaint, you must provide our e-mail address: patrick@siala.dk.

The European Commission’s online complaints portal can also be used to lodge a complaint. This is particularly relevant for Customers residing in another EU country.   1. Choice of law and venue

Agreements of purchase of goods on siala.dk are subject to Danish law. Any dispute is decided by the ordinary Danish courts.
